Olympic Homestay

Share my Beijing apartment with me during the Olympics. I am an American photographer and a long time resident of Beijing.

• I will provide bedding and blankets as needed, towels and basic cleaning services.

This is an ideal situation for one person or a couple who wants to see the Olympics and to experience life in Beijing. The apartment is located in a Chinese neighborhood in the old part of the city. You will be a six or seven minute walk from the Beijing subway which will get you to the Olympic site in less than half an hour. Or go by taxi in 15 minutes for less than $5. Beijing's best known tourist attractions like the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square are also easily accessible from my location. There are food markets and lots of good restaurants nearby, as well as plenty of opportunities for walks through traditional Beijing hutongs. And if you enjoy nightlife, you will be near the clubs, bars and teahouses of the Houhai area.

I will be happy to share with you some of my experiences living in China and give you some general orientation to life in Beijing to be sure you get the most out of your visit.
