The Orchard is a quiet garden eatery located in the green pastures of Shunyi offering great continental cuisine in a bucolic country setting. Built with recycled beams and wood in a stylized farmhouse by owner-cum carpenter Wu Yuntao, wife Lisa Minder, and California Chef Jeffrey Powell. With a small pond, lawn and large patio, it is a perfect al fresco dining in the summer. The apple crumble, made with apples plucked from their own orchard, is the most memorable dessert.
