Hidden in an obscure hutong not far from the Lama Temple, the Vineyard Café is a courtyard house renovated in contemporary design, dominated by white, and with plenty of natural light. The restaurant has a lovely courtyard adorned with grape vines, which leads to a secluded rear lounge area with suede sofas. Café Vineyard serves typical Western dishes, and also has a wonderful hearty British brunch on the weekends: eggs, bangers, sautéed mushrooms, fried potatoes and baked beans, a glass of fresh squeezed apple juice or orange juice and coffee or tea for 65RMB.
